This privacy policy applies to anyone who contacts HARWOOD Animal Portraits, places an order, creates a customer account, or uploads reference images for a portrait commission.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, account details, order details, requested dates, payment-related identifiers, delivery information for printed orders, any reference images you upload for the commission, and standard attribution details such as UTM campaign parameters when you arrive through a tracked link.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, create and manage portrait orders, review uploaded reference images, provide account access, process payments, arrange delivery where relevant, and communicate with you about the progress of your commission.
Analytics and attribution
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta Pixel alongside privacy-friendly Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and improve the experience over time. If you arrive through a tracked campaign link, standard attribution details such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, and utm_content may also be stored with an order so we can understand which channels are working.
Payments and service providers
Payments are handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Reference images and artwork files may be stored with third-party services used to operate the website and commission workflow, including cloud media storage providers. We only use providers needed to run the service.
Email and account access
If customer account access is enabled, we may send secure account or password links to the email address connected to your order. Those messages are used only to help you access your account and order updates.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry, order, and account information for as long as it is reasonably needed to run the commission, provide customer support, maintain business records, and handle any follow-up questions or disputes. Uploaded reference images and related order files may also be retained for operational records unless you request deletion and we no longer need to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with HARWOOD Animal Portraits, subject to any legal or operational reasons we may still need to retain it. To make a request, contact hello@harwoodanimalportraits.com.
